The fact that the PS3 runs games like Borderlands 2 at the level it does, should be considered as nothing short of miraculous and I tip my hat to 'Gearbox' for making it work this well on such dated tech. Multi-player is a different story, huge drops in frame rate, screen tearing and the occasional little freeze but if your playing with good mates, the banter usually more then makes up for the short comings.Īnyone with a PS3 should know by now what they're getting, it's old tech (nearly 7 years old) and can't be expected to run new games at the same level new PC can. How stupid can you people be? you all need go down to an internet cafe ASAP and play borderlands 2 on high settings with 60fps. if you think it does, you dont understand sh** about framerate. but i can say with utmost certainty this game doesnt run smooth. and im not categorizing myself as a pc gamer cuz honestly i do both. they honestly couldnt fathom perfect frame-rate because frankly, theyve probably never played a game with perfect frame-rate and easily settle for less as a result. I am truly surprised at how naive console gamers are when it comes to FPS in games. gaming console's are just way behind in terms of hardware and borderlands 2 just BARELLY ports properly to console. BORDERLANDS 2 is a terrible port to console. And you can't possibly be fully aware until you test it for yourself.

it is incredible how much of a difference there is. i decided to get the package deal of both borderlands 1&2 off steam (to play with one of my buddies) and omg my mind was blown. it can make all the difference when it comes to getting that critical hit or med-long distance shot. THAT is a pretty significant difference when it comes to shooters. in fact it was quite choppy and prolly only capped out at around 48fps MAX out of 60 (some games are out of 30). first, i bought this game for ps3 and noticed it didnt seem smooth. i have a gaming rig with 8600radeon hd 8gigs ram, quad core i7. nearly every single person in this thread (aside from the person who started thread). IT IS PATHETIC HOW NAIVE SOME CONSOLE GAMERS ARE.
